Dr.
Apfelbaum and his professional hygiene staff are pleased to offer
our patients a non-surgical treatment alternative. With dental
endoscopy our doctor and hygienist can visualize the smallest
details of your roots and teeth. A perioscope provides us with a
microscopic look below the gum line. We are able to identify areas
of concern and provide microscopic cleaning , which gives the gum
tissues the best chance of healing without surgical intervention.
For
most patients, anesthesia is not necessary. With magnification of
up to 46 times we are also able to identify initial decay and/or
cracks without having to undergo invasive flap surgery.
